  1. Hello Kenyatta, I have been hearing a lot about this tax debt resolution and I would like to know if it really works. What’s a fresh start? Who qualifies and are there reasons that would prohibit someone from receiving a OIC?

    • Hi Renee,

Interest and penalties continue to accrue until you take action. Your friends at Tax Advantage is here to help. Just call us. Your initial consultation is free. • If you have an outstanding tax liability and experience financial difficulty resolving it you may qualify for assistance through the tax payer advocacy group in your area. The Taxpayer Advocate Service is an independent organization within the IRS, headed by the National Taxpayer Advocate. Each state has at least one Local Taxpayer Advocate who is independent of the local IRS office and reports directly to the National Taxpayer Advocate. They may be able to assist you if not free of charge at a dramatically reduced rate.

Contact your local IRS office and request information on how to speak with your local tax payer advocate. If you don’t find the solution you seek for your tax problem, call Advantage Tax.
